I followed him through a long, narrow corridor without windows, illuminated by the soft glow of glass panels above. I felt a sense of space and freedom as I entered his office. The room was minimally furnished, featuring large windows that offered a breathtaking view of a lush, paradisiacal garden. Vibrant flowers in every color and size adorned the landscape, with trees in the distance standing gracefully against a perfectly manicured lawn. Perched atop a hill, the building basked in the beauty of a sunny day, with a clear blue sky stretching endlessly above. He invited me to sit on the couch while he settled into an armchair across from me.
I turned my head to look at the garden once more; I had never seen anything so beautiful in my entire life.
"Do you like it?" he asked, a faint smile on his lips.
"I'm astonished," I replied.
"Yes, it truly is beautiful. You've spent the last three weeks here," he said.
"How? I was in a cage if you ask me."
"Exactly," he said gently. "Just like in life, we often live in a cage, blind to the beauty surrounding us."
